Why would you hire smart people and then tell them what to do ?
That was a quote from Steve Jobs.
It makes perfect sense, you should always want to hire people smarter then you and then let them go.
You should always be there to direct and steer but for the most part your business will only grow if you keep changing with the times and looking at it from all angles.
Having fresh eyes always helps but only if you allow those eyes to see and you allow your ego to listen.
How can you do it better ?
What app is there out there now to help streamline that did not even exist three years ago ?
What can you do better to lift morale?
If you stifle those around you and always want to be alpha dog in the room you are losing opportunity and probably losing the moral and energy.
Listen... encourage... and always allow the people around you to shine.
