Black Friday....Shop to you drop...Charge...Pay Later.....hurry...
I will never understand how people who have a hard time paying their bills go shopping to buy things that they do not need....oh yea wait a minute I do know why...they are all sheep.
The advertisements tell them that they will save money, the ads also tell them that they " must have " their product. Therefore they go shopping, wait in lines and swear while they are in traffic or at the person who steals that parking spot.
But they have to buy gifts for the holidays, in order to show the people that they they love that that love them. Really?
I absolutely wish we could go back in time BEFORE mass communication and TV and the Internet. A time when the holidays meant you gathered with your family and maybe exchange a gift that you had made or just a story and a hug over a wood burning stove or fireplace.
No one was telling you that you had to go shopping and spend money that you didn't have so you were content with what you had who was around you. The jeans that you had on was just fine and going out for a walk with a loved one it was a time to catch up on life or just slow it down.
Instead we hurry and set our alarms to wake up early so we can rush to the stores to save money that we do not have in the first place...and why?...because that is what sheep do...they just follow along.
We hold our own destiny in each of our hands and we have choices. So for all of those people that will not know how they are going to pay their bills in January or February...try slowing it down and enjoying what you have rather than worrying about how to obtain what you do not have.
