Sounds simple right ?
Then why do most people fail on doing the “simple” things ?
Answering emails and calls promptly is simple respect and good business, even if you do not have an immediate answer - return the call or email ! If not you are telling that person that they do not matter and they sit there wondering if you even received the call or email.
Being nice sounds ridiculous to even have to put down on paper but if most people would concentrate on just being nice to others they will make their job so much easier and guess what - people would be nicer to them.
Being nice may involved simply smiling and listening and offering a sincere helping hand.
I use to say that I could teach someone how to do the day to day and how to organize and train them how to do the day to day things that involve the responsibilities of their job BUT I could teach or train them - to give a shit- to actually CARE about others.
If you sincerely do not care about others and understand that what you do can effect what they do then all the training in the world will not help.
