A Culture

What is the culture in your office or work place or on your trailer and truck?

What type of leadership do you have or what type of leader or boss are you?

You set the table, the foundation and culture for those around you and the philosophy that you expect.
If you are diligent in your duties and respect others those around you will reflect you and your pass it on.
If you bully, take long breaks and talk disrespectfully to others they will reflect that also.

Paul Arpin, my mentor and friend, would always tell me that people are watching me.
And if I do it they will think they can do it.
Lead by example.

If you want respect- give respect.
If you want people around you to work hard and care- then you need to work hard and care.

Simple - right ?
Then why do so many people just not get it.
They think they are better then the people that work with or for them or try to indimadate.
Fear is not a way to build bonds or relationships and to be truly successful you need people you can trust and bonds and relationships.

What does your labor or fellow employees do when you are not in the room or watching?
Ultimately that is what question you need to ask yourself.

Create the culture that you want in your workplace and on your job by treating those around you the way you want to be treated.
