Remain professional

Always remain professional.

We recently had a driver tell a customer on the first day of her move that he was hurting for money and that the IRS was chasing him.......what?

Can you imagine what was going through the mind of that customer?
Will he steal something to help his dept?
Why is he telling me this on a day that I am already stressed?

Not to be cold but the customer is only concerned about their goods and their move, they are not there to hear your issues or your problems.

That driver lost all credibility at that point.

THEY ALSO MADE THEIR JOB A LOT HARDER BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER WILL THEN WATCH EVERYTHING THEY DO ALL DAY LONG.

No matter what is going on in your life at that day , at that moment you need to focus only on the customer.
It will help with the move, your relationship with the customer and it will then help you to do your job.

After a while we get so comfortable in our job that we forget what it was like when we started, when all we wanted to do was learn and do better and please our boss or our customer.

Try to keep that feeling and just see that customer, take pride in what you do. Do not see through or around people but SEE them.

If you do I guarantee it will be returned.
