Real Power is FEAR
Unfortunately history has proven that fear works, going back to the Roman days or the days of Hitler and Germany - Fear = Power.
Be very aware of your surroundings and do not ever allow fear to rule your decisions or your life.
I have witnessed it in marriages and with parents and your children and in business and yes in our politics.
It is ugly, it is thuggish and people succumb to bullies for lots of reasons, the same reason why they get to be heard , they shout louder because they just do not give a good shit about anyone but them.
It is easier to walk away and shake our heads but by doing so we leave them alone and being the only ones shouting so people begin to listen and before you know it they too are shouting and they are angry. That is how it works, how it builds.
Stand your ground, do not allow fear into your life - stat true to what you know is right.
If they are yelling and deflecting and wanting you to be angry it is really all about them and about them gaining power - real power through FEAR.
