Zero to eighty

0-80

Do you know people that go to zero to eighty in seconds ?
During a conversation do you know people that get loud and angry within minutes?
If you are taking the other side in a conversation do you know anyone that cuts you off or takes over the conversation by talking louder or by trying to bully the conversation?

We all know these type people and unfortunately they stifle conversations and therefore impedes progress and all though they may not know it they lose any opportunity to learn the other side.
When you listen and have a true conversation all parties gain, you take a little here and a little there and you learn how to do it better- how to be better.

What happens is when you come across those that go from 0-80 in seconds we normally give them the floor and to avoid arguments we normally concede the conversation- why bother- right ?
But by not talking and listening and respecting others opinions we ALL lose.

Always try to build that bridge and try to not only allow other opinions but to try to foster conversations, especially with those that may not agree with- listen-respect-learn .
