Honesty

Can there be honesty in business?
To work in an environment where you speak out openly and honestly is refreshing and can result in doing some great things. If you feel as if you have that in your position and in your workplace embrace it and stay where you because it is not the norm in today’s place of business.
Unfortunately I see more and more “ leaders” that have climbed up through the ranks and do not appreciate what those around them truly do and the end result is leaders that tend not to truly listen and they rule by fear and intimidation.
When you work in that environment you do not feel as if you can honesty speak out and if you do you will be seen as not being a good employee. The thing is you are being a good employee because you want to make improvements or at least discuss how you think it may be better for the company and your fellow teammates.
When you feel suppressed or when you feel as if your opinion does not matter you begin to give up and you will never reach your potential or feel rewarded.
