Powerful words !
How can six little words be so hard ... forgive those that trespass upon us.
It is so easy to hate and want revenge and yet it so hard to forgive and turn the other cheek.
Which will bring you more happiness? Which will lighten your own load?
That is the crazy thing, when you learn to forgive, or at least try- you find out that you yourself will benefit just as much if not more.
When you carry the weight of hatred or the weight of trying to get even you start to feel the weight- Let it go !
When you try to extend the olive branch first it may surprise you, you may even learn that maybe just maybe their was some validity to the other side. Either way if you let it go you can go about your way and see better and feel better.
I know it is not easy - but really, it should be.
Try it !
Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself.
