Recently there was a seminar visiting most major cities with the theme of " motivation".
The line up of speakers had some powerful and successful people such as Colin Powell, Terry Bradshaw, Football college coach Lou Holtz and Bill Cosby and others.
Cosby said too many people allow their lives to stagnate because they are afraid to take action.
The Lord helps those who help themselves, Cosby said, but too many people forget the last three words.
Cosby went on to say " I'm not here to sell you GOD, I'm just here to tell you some good sense."
He told the story about Jesus meeting a supplicant who wants his high blood pressure cured.
"Don't eat salt," Jesus tells him.
The supplicant expected more- a healing touch,perhaps- and says he's disappointed.
"Wait till you meet my father," Jesus replies.
